This is a motion of a ship or airplane experienced when
pivoting about the vertical axis of the hull (in a ship), or fuselage
(in an airplane). While ships motions in the longitudinal and
transverse axis (rolling and pitching) are easily discernible, yaw
is sometimes less noticeable.
