Yes. Failing to disclose prior injuries had the effect of reducing a Jones Act award of a seaman who was injured while working for a towing company. In filling out job applications, the seaman had indicated he had not suffered any on-the-job injuries and did not have physical conditions that might interfere with or hinder his job performance.
